Twitter, Inc.(NYSE: TWTR) shares rose 11.10% to $45.84 in pre-market trading after the company reported stronger-than-expected fourth-quarter results.
LinkedIn Corporation (NYSE: LNKD) gained 9.49% to $260.55 in pre-market trading after the company reported upbeat results for the fourth quarter and issued a strong 2015 earnings forecast.
Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) shares surged 5.77% to $73.50 in pre-market trading after the company reported better-than-expected earnings for the fiscal second quarter and lifted its earnings forecast for the year. Harris also announced its plans to acquire Exelis for $23.75 per share in a cash and stock transaction.
Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: FTR) shares jumped 2.60% to $7.90 in pre-market trading after the company agreed to acquire Verizon's (NYSE: VZ) wireline operations in California, Florida and Texas for $10.54 billion in cash.
