JP Morgan Offers Multiple Apple 'Tidbits,' Includes Potential Watch Event

Rod Hall of JP Morgan on Thursday commented in a note that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is reportedly set to tap Samsung to lead the fabrication of its A9 chip due to Samsung's leadership position at the 14nm node.

Hall also notes that Apple is reportedly working on its own OTT Pay TV package that is similar to Dish Networks (NASDAQ: DISH) Sling TV. The analyst suggests that Apple may even introduce a new Apple TV and some new services to go along with it in 2015.

Finally, Hall concludes by suggesting that Apple is reportedly set to announce an event in late February and that the Apple Watch specs and Retina MacBook Air would be on the agenda.

According to Hall, these "tidbits" have a neutral impact to Apple.
