Kosmos Energy Ltd. (NYSE: KOS).In the report, Credit Suisse noted, “KOS unveiled details of its significant drilling targets on Wednesday. According to the company, the four play-opening wells on the docket themselves could contain 4bn Boe (gross). If successful, they would unlock a further 18bn of follow-on exploration potential. KOS shares are trading at a slight discount to the discovered value of existing PRODUCING assets in Ghana. The risk/reward is asymmetric. Inside, we highlight three of the key areas for testing. We also guesstimate the risked NAV impact. We are most excited by Mauritania given that it's in the neighborhood of existing discoveries. Offshore exploration takes time – the giant 1bn Boe Gargaa well will likely have results in 2Q15, with the even larger 2.1bn Tortue later next year. At the current share price, it pays to wait.”Kosmos Energy Ltd. closed on Wednesday at $9.84.
