Pre-open moversUS stock futures traded slightly lower in early pre-market trade, ahead of wholesale trade data. Data on wholesale trade for March will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 14 points to 16,496.00, while the Standard & Poor's 500 index futures fell 2.20 points to 1,870.10. Futures for the Nasdaq 100 index slipped 7 points to 3,530.50.A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today, with the Spanish Ibex Index falling 0.96%, STOXX Europe 600 Index declining 0.32%. German DAX 30 index fell 0.23%, French CAC 40 Index tumbled 0.53% and London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.31%. Italian industrial output dropped 0.5% in March from February, while UK's manufacturing output climbed 1.4% in January to March. German exports declined 1.8% on the month in March, while imports slipped 0.9%.In Asian markets, Japan's Nikkei Stock Average surged 0.25%, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.12%, China's Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.21% and India's BSE Sensex jumped 2.91%.
