Portfolio Recovery Associates, Inc (NASDAQ: PRAA) shares jumped 4.40% to $69.99. The volume of PRAA shares traded was 441% higher than normal. PRAA’s Q2 results beat expectations. Sycamore Networks, Inc (NASDAQ: SCMR) shares gained 2.36% to $23.00. The volume of SCMR shares traded was 399% higher than normal. Credit Suisse upgraded its rating on SCMR from “neutral” to “outperform.” Maxwell Technologies, Inc (NASDAQ: MXWL) shares moved up 15.85% to $12.06. The volume of MXWL shares traded was 324% higher than normal. In a press release issued yesterday, MXWL has provided information regarding the status of its negotiations with the DOJ in which it settled the alleged violations of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
