Analyst Believes Home Button on Next iPhone Will Feature Convex Fingerprint Sensor

Traders in Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) are passing around a weekend note out of KGI Securities in Thailand. Several traders have suggested the note may be moving shares of Synaptics (NASDAQ: SNYA) Monday morning. The stock is up more than 2 percent at last check.The firm's Mingchi Kuo suggested a new convex home button on the next iPhone could leave room for a fingerprint sensor to be installed. He believes this new feature could be a notable selling point for the next iteration of the top-selling smartphone. The analyst suggested the fingerprint sensor would allow users an extremely secure way to access the cloud and make mobile payments.In addition to Synaptics, Taiwan Semi (NYSE: TSM) could also be a supplier for this fingerprint technology. Shares of Rubicon (NASDAQ: RBCN) also seem to be moving Monday morning as the company has been mentioned as a possible supplier for the sapphire which will make up the actual new home-screen button.Rubicon shares are up 1.4 percent at last check.
