President Joe Biden has joined athletes and celebrities in participating in the March Madness festivities by completing his NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament bracket.

Here's a look at Biden's bracket.

What Happened: Former President Barack Obama began filling out a March Madness bracket in 2009 and has been releasing one publicly every year since.

Meanwhile, Biden has filled out several brackets during his time in the White House and is back with his picks for the 2024 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Like Obama, Biden sees the University of Connecticut repeating as champions and winning the tournament. Here's a look at Biden's Final Four including the payouts to win the championship and reach the Final Four, with odds from sportsbook DraftKings Inc (NASDAQ:DKNG).

  • Connecticut: +340 (champion), +105 (Final Four)
  • North Carolina: +1,300, +260
  • Houston: +550, +140
  • Tennessee: +1,600, +350

A $100 bet on Biden's Final Four being correct pays out with odds of +7,870, netting a potential profit of $7,870.40 for a bettor.

Biden's Final Four includes three 1-seeds and one 2-seed (Tennessee), with Connecticut defeating Houston in the championship game. Some were quick to poke fun at Biden picking three 1-seeds to reach the Final Four.

A 1-seed has won 63% of the tournaments since the field expanded to 64 teams in 1985. Bettors may be focused on last year's tournament, which included no 1-seeds in the Final Four for only the fourth time since the tournament field expanded. Last year's Final Four was the first since field expansion to not have a single 1, 2, or 3 seed.

In the first round of games, Biden has selected 10 upsets based on seedings. Biden selected all four 9-seeds (Michigan State, TCU, Texas A&M, Northwestern), just like Obama did, and also picked 10-seed Drake, 13-seed Charleston, 11-seed New Mexico, 10-seed Nevada, 12-seed McNeese and 11-seed North Carolina State.

A $100 bet on all four 9-seeds winning their opening round games pays out at odds of +1,158, turning the bet into a potential profit of $1,158.80.
