US stock futures have opened weak this morning due to the strength in the US dollar as well as profit taking after the Dow and S&P reached record highs last Friday. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 41 points to 15,039.00 and S&P 500 index futures slipped 5.50 points to 1,625.40. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 11.50 points to 2,970.00.US stocks rose on Friday. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 33 points to 15,059.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 1.80 points to 1,626.40. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 5 points to 2,965.25.Data on Retail Sales will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET, while Business Inventories Report will be released at 10:00 a.m. ET. The 4 Week Bill Announcement will take place 11:00 a.m. ET. The 3-Month and 6-Month Bill Auction will take place at 11:00 a.m. ET.Wall Street expects Home Inns & Hotels Management Inc. (NASDAQ: HMIN) to post a Q4 earnings at $0.18 per share on revenue of $1.31 billion. Home Inns & Hotels Management shares closed at $26.52 per share on Friday.Delta Airlines (NYSE: DAL) was the only company a sizable climb in short interest in the U.S. airline industry. Delta Airlines shares closed at $18.13 per share on Friday.Analysts expect Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO) to post its Q4 earnings at $0.23 per share on a revenue of $280.36 million. Take-Two Interactive Software shares closed at $16.44 per share on Friday.European markets opened low today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 00.45%, London's FTSE 100 Index dropped 0.27%, French CAC 40 Index declined 0.41% and German DAX 30 index fell 0.66%.Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.20%, China's Shanghai Composite tumbling 0.22% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 climbing 0.07%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 1.42% and India's Sensex dipped 1.98%.
