Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) expressed a sense of nonchalance towards the possibility of an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, suggesting it could backfire on Republicans, Business Insider reported.
Fetterman communicated his thoughts during a press gathering in his Senate office, making use of assistive technology due to an auditory processing disorder post a stroke in 2022.
Fetterman was dismissive of the potential inquiry, stating it would merely be a “circlejerk on the fringe right.”
“Go ahead and do it, I dare you,” he added.

House Republicans have zeroed in on allegations that President Biden was financially involved in his son Hunter Biden’s business operations, primarily in China and Ukraine. However, Fetterman brushed off these claims, stating that Hunter Biden is not on the ballot and is simply a “fetish” of the Republicans.
The senator also highlighted the multiple criminal indictments against former President Donald Trump.
He remarked, “Your man has what, three or four indictments now?”
