Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) users with sufficient credits can attend the Cybertruck delivery event scheduled for later this year.

What Happened: Users with 30,000 referral credits can redeem it for an invitation to the upcoming Cybertruck delivery event which will be held in Texas, Tesla said in a mail sent to users.

As per a screenshot of the mail shared by users on X.com, two people can attend the event with one invitation, including the one who took it. However, only one invitation shall be issued for one Tesla account, as per the mail.

These invites are first come, first served and not inclusive of travel or accommodation.

The mail said that users who miss the chance to get their invite can try later when additional tickets are released.

More tickets shall be released closer to the event date, which is yet to be announced, the mail added.

Why It Matters: One can accumulate sufficient referral credits by having friends or family use their referral link to purchase a Tesla product for the first time or even take a demo drive of a Tesla. For the purchase of different Tesla products, referral credits differ.

At Tesla shareholder meeting earlier this year, Musk said that the Cybertruck delivery event would be held later this year. Last day, the CEO even posted a picture of himself seated in the driving seat of the production candidate Cybertruck at Giga Texas.

When asked about the date of the delivery event, Musk said, "When we are ready to do so, we will."
