US stock futures are slightly lower this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 16 points to 13,330.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 1.50 points to 1,456.20. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 1.25 points to 2,711.75.US stocks closed higher on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.33% to 13,435.21, the S&P 500 index gaining 0.49% to 1,466.47 and the Nasdaq 100 index climbing 0.04% to 3,101.66. Commercial Metals Company (NYSE: CMC) is expected to report its Q1 earnings at $0.17 per share on revenue of $1.89 billion. Zep (NYSE: ZEP) is projected to report its Q1 earnings at $0.18 per share on revenue of $156.79 million.Office Depot (NYSE: ODP) announced the resignation of Kevin Peters, president of its North American business. AbbVie (NYSE: ABBV) declared the company's first quarterly dividend of $0.40 per share. European markets were mostly lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index fell 0.15%, London's FTSE 100 Index gained 0.45%, German DAX 30 Index declined 0.47% and French CAC 40 Index fell 0.68%.Asian markets ended mostly lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 0.83%, China's Shanghai Composite gaining 0.37% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 Index dropping 0.10%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.01% and India's Sensex declined 0.47%.The ICE dollar index (DXY) rose 0.10% to trade at 80.58, versus 80.440 late Friday.The euro dropped 0.27% against the dollar to trade at $1.3041, down from $1.3082 late Friday. The dollar fell 0.28% versus the Japanese yen to trade at ¥87.87, down from ¥88.13.Nymex crude-oil futures dropped $0.29 to trade at $93.22 a barrel in electronic trade, while gold futures rose $6 to $1,654.90 an ounce.
