Apple Watch's Colorful 2023 Pride Edition Design Revealed By Code Leak

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is set to celebrate Pride month in 2023 with a special Apple Watch rainbow edition design, code discovered by developers suggests. 

What Happened: Two code enthusiasts have shared an image of the upcoming Apple Watch Pride edition face and band design, which according to them were accidentally made available on the company's backend.

The new design features colorful pill-shaped objects that cover the watch’s face, suggesting some animation. The visible portion of the band in the images reveals what appears to be a Sport Loop with the same sprinkles pattern.

The leak was first reported by AppleInsider. 

The duo who discovered this code usually share details found in the beta code. However, they stated that the image was updated and later removed from the company servers itself, the report noted.  

Why It's Important: Apple is expected to announce the new Apple Watch Pride edition in May. In the U.S., Pride Month is celebrated in June every year

Given that this will be the first Pride month of Apple Watch Ultra, it is possible that the tech giant may introduce some Ultra-focused Pride bands.
