U.S. stocks traded lower, with the Nasdaq Composite dropping around 100 points on Tuesday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.
- Morphic Holding, Inc. (NASDAQ:MORF) shares jumped 20.8% to $52.50 after the company announced that its open-label EMERALD-1 Phase 2a study of MORF-057 met its primary endpoint in adults with moderate to severe ulcerative colitis.
- Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ARWR) rose 17.2% to $35.19 after the company announced interim results from an ongoing Phase 1/2 clinical study of ARO-RAGE.
- Medpace Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:MEDP) climbed 16.5% to $218.06 after the company reported better-than-expected Q1 results.
- Aaron's Company Inc (NYSE:AAN) rose 15.6% to $11.81 after the company reported Q1 results and updated full-year guidance.
- Edgewise Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:EWTX) gained 14.4% to $8.24.
- Xerox Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:XRX) surged 13% to $15.36 following upbeat quarterly earnings.
- Simpson Manufacturing Co., Inc. (NYSE:SSD) rose 11.6% to $126.05 following better-than-expected quarterly results.
- Hubbell Incorporated (NYSE:HUBB) climbed 10.4% to $256.73 following strong quarterly results.
- PureCycle Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCT) gained 10.2% to $5.72.
- Gambling.com Group Limited (NASDAQ:GAMB) rose 7.1% to $10.40 after announcing select preliminary 2023 Q1 results.
- Apollomics, Inc. (NASDAQ:APLM) gained 6.7% to $4.31 after EF Hutton initiated coverage on the stock with a Buy rating and a $25 price target.
- Allogene Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALLO) jumped 6.2% to $5.70.
- bluebird bio, Inc. (NASDAQ:BLUE) rose 5.6% to $3.6350. Bluebird Bio said it submitted its Biologics License Application to the FDA for lovotibeglogene autotemcel for patients with sickle cell disease ages 12 and older with a history of vaso-occlusive events.
- Spotify Technology S.A. (NYSE:SPOT) gained 4.5% to $137.39 after the company reported Q1 financial results. Total revenue grew 14% year over year and Monthly Active Users grew by 22% year over year.
