US Stock Futures Up Ahead Of ADP Employment Data

US stock futures are higher this morning, as investors are awaiting ADP employment data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 46 points to 12,979.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 4.10 points to 1,409.60. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 4.50 points to 2,669.00.US stocks closed lower on Tuesday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping 0.11% to 12,951.78, the S&P 500 index declining 0.17% to 1,407.05 and the Nasdaq 100 index falling 0.18% to 2,996.69. Data on ADP employment will be released at 8:15 a.m. ET, while Q3 productivity data will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. The ISM's nonmanufacturing index for November and factory orders data for October will be released at 10 a.m. ET.G-III Apparel Group (NASDAQ: GIII) is projected to report its Q3 earnings at $2.35 per share on revenue of $572.66 million. Finisar (NASDAQ: FNSR) is estimated to post its Q2 EPS at $0.14 on revenue of $231.85 million.SAIC (NYSE: SAI) is projected to post its Q3 earnings at $0.34 per share on revenue of $2.85 billion. Brown-Forman (NYSE: BF-B) is expected to report its Q2 earnings at $0.78 per share on revenue of $1.05 billion. Ascena Retail Group (NASDAQ: ASNA) is estimated to post its Q1 EPS at $0.34 on revenue of $1.14 billion.The Men's Wearhouse (NYSE: MW) is projected to post its Q3 EPS at $0.55 on revenue of $593.90 million. Toro Co (NYSE: TTC) is expected to report its Q4 EPS at $0.00 on revenue of $349.83 million. Vera Bradley (NASDAQ: VRA) is estimated to post its Q3 EPS at $0.38 on revenue of $135.25 million.Pandora Media (NYSE: P) issued downbeat forecast for fourth quarter and fiscal 2013. The composite purchasing managers' index for the euro zone rose climbed to 46.5 in November, versus 45.7 in October. European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index rose 0.23%, London's FTSE 100 Index gained 0.28%, French CAC 40 Index surged 0.27% and German DAX 30 index rose 0.26%.Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 0.39%, China's Shanghai Composite gaining 2.87% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 rising 0.36%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 2.16% and India's Sensex climbed 0.23%.Australia's gross domestic product expanded 0.5% in the third quarter.Gold for February delivery gained $7.20 to trade at $1,703.00, while crude-oil for January delivery rose $0.16 to $88.66 a barrel.
