Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares are trading higher by 5.26% to $207.23 after the company said its Berlin Gigafactory built 4,000 Model Y units in a week. Tesla Europe tweeted the update on Sunday. 

In October last year, Tesla confirmed Model Y production had touched 2000 vehicles. The new numbers hint at a rapid ramp-up with production doubling in less than six months.

What Else Is Going On With Tesla?

Tesla stock is also potentially trading higher in anticipation of the company's investor day taking place Wednesday.

In a January announcement Tesla said that "investors will be able to see our most advanced production line as well as discuss long term expansion plans, generation 3 platform, capital allocation and other subjects with our leadership team" during the event.
