US Stock Futures Up Ahead Of Economic Data

US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 47 points to 12,617.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 6 points to 1,365.80. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 12 points to 2,545.00.US stocks closed higher on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 0.37% to 12,588.31, the S&P 500 index gaining 0.48% to 1,359.88 and the Nasdaq 100 index jumping 0.57% to 2,853.13. Data on existing home sales for October and the NAHB's housing market index for November will be released at 10 a.m. ET.Lowe's Companies (NYSE: LOW) is projected to report its Q3 earnings at $0.35 per share on revenue of $11.91 billion. Agilent Technologies (NYSE: A) is estimated to post its Q4 earnings at $0.80 per share on revenue of $1.76 billion. Brocade Communications Systems (NASDAQ: BRCD) is projected to post its Q4 EPS at $0.14 on revenue of $566.58 million.Urban Outfitters (NASDAQ: URBN) is projected to post its Q3 earnings at $0.41 per share on revenue of $692.38 million. Jack in the Box (NASDAQ: JACK) is estimated to post its Q4 EPS at $0.37 on revenue of $488.79 million.Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (NYSE: KKD) is estimated to post its Q3 EPS at $0.08 on revenue of $104.56 million. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index surged 0.49% India's Sensex rose 0.16%.Nymex crude-oil futures climbed $1.97 to trade at $87.84 a barrel in electronic trade.The dollar index dropped 0.2% to trade at 81.03.
