US stock futures are lower this morning, as investors are awaiting earnings from Home Depot (NYSE: HD). Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average tumbled 72 points to 12,708.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 9.20 points to 1,369.00. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 17.25 points to 2,563.75.US stocks closed mostly flat on Monday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropping 0.31 points to 12,815.08, the S&P 500 index gaining 0.18 points to 1,380.03 and the Nasdaq 100 index falling 0.62 points to 2,904.26. The NFIB's small-business index for the month of October will be released at 7:30 a.m. ET, while the federal budget for October will be released at 2 p.m. ET.Saks (NYSE: SKS) is estimated to report its Q3 earnings at $0.12 per share on revenue of $725.70 million. AECOM Technology (NYSE: ACM) is expected to report its Q4 earnings at $0.82 per share on revenue of $2.22 billion. Home Depot is projected to report its Q3 earnings at $0.70 per share on revenue of $17.92 billion. Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO) is estimated to post its Q1 EPS at $0.46 on revenue of $11.79 billion. Dick's Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS) is projected to report its Q3 earnings at $0.37 per share on revenue of $1.30 billion. TJX Companies (NYSE: TJX) is estimated to report its Q3 earnings at $0.61 per share on revenue of $6.37 billion. Michael Kors Holdings Ltd (NYSE: KORS) is expected to report its Q3 EPS at $0.40 on revenue of $519.31 million.Jacobs Engineering Group (NYSE: JEC) reported its Q4 net earnings at $107.4 million, or $0.83 per share, up from net earnings of $94.3 million, or $0.74 per share, in the year-ago period. Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) reported that Windows unit head Steven Sinofsky will be leaving the company. Weatherford International (NYSE: WFT) reported a decline in its third-quarter pre-tax earnings and issued downbeat fourth-quarter earnings forecast. Germany's ZEW expectations index declined to -15.7 in November. Spain's inflation rose to 3.5% y/y in October.European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index dropped 0.62%, London's FTSE 100 Index fell 0.80%, French CAC 40 Index declined 0.87% and German DAX 30 index dropped 0.79%.Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average falling 0.18%, China's Shanghai Composite dropping 1.51% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 dropping 1.47%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index fell 1.13%.The euro dropped 0.22% versus the dollar to trade at $1.2681.Crude prices for December delivery declined $0.50 to trade at $85.12 a barrel.
