By 10:45 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 20.14 points, or 0.15%, to 13,573.23, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had dropped 2.46 points, or 0.17%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 10.21 points, or 0.32%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Diagnostics Products Stocks, which have gained 2.8%, Swine Flu and Bird Flu Stocks, up 1.4%, and Waste Management Stocks, moving 1.2% higher as a group.In Tickerspy's Diagnostics Products complex, IRIS International (NASDAQ: IRIS) had surged 45%. Danaher (NYSE: DHR) announced its plans to buy IRIS at a purchase price of $19.50 per share.The best performing Tickerspy Swine Flu and Bird Flu stock has been Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ: GILD), which was up 4.8%. Gilead Sciences' PEG ratio is 1.04.Waste Connections (NYSE: WCN) is today's leading Tickerspy's Waste Management stock, gaining 7.7%. Waste Connections announced its plans to acquire R360 Environmental Solutions Inc. for around $1.3 billion.
