K12 (NYSE: LRN) does not believe the allegations made by Seminole County School District are accurate. K12 conducted an internal review and there was no evidence of any effort to avoid Florida's teacher certification requirements. K12 has been working closely and cooperatively with the Florida Department of Education and Inspector General's office on this matter. K12 teachers assigned to teach students in Florida are state certified. Because K12 is continuing to work with state officials on this matter, further comment would be inappropriate. In partnership with school districts and charter schools, K12 operates online public schools in over 30 states. Additionally K12's courses, education products, and individualized learning programs are used in over 2,000 school districts across the U.S. There are many different laws, regulations and requirements across these states that we navigate and follow on behalf our public school partners, and our record on compliance is very strong.
