Piper Jaffray remains Overweight-rated with a $19 target price on America Eagle (NYSE: AEO) on continued confidence that recovery is on track. Piper Jaffray says, "Ahead of the company's FQ4 earnings report slated for March 7, we continue to believe FQ4 EPS will be at the high-end of mgmt's $0.33-$0.35 range. Our store checks in Jan/Feb suggest that the vibrant color palette has trended well thus far. That said, we continue to believe the teen retail landscape will remain competitive from a promotional perspective in 1H and therefore are taking a more cautious approach toFQ1. Our FQ1 EPS moves from $0.09 to $0.07 (Street: $0.10)."AEO closed at $14.16 a share on Friday.
