  • Nike Inc (NYSE:NKE) shares are down 3 percent despite reporting a first-quarter earnings beat. Earnings came in at 67 cents per share, beating estimates by 5 cents. Sales came in at $9.948 billion, beating estimates by $18 million The company said gross margins increased from 43.7 percent to 44.2 percent in the same quarter of last year. Inventories were $5.2 billion, unchanged from last year.
