Lions Gate Surrenders Huge Gains

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (USA) LGF shares were unchanged at $20.94 in Thursday's session.The Street seemed to be having second thoughts regarding its takeover of Starz Entertainment STRZA for $4.4 billion in cash and stock.

After a sharply higher open, it immediately peaked at $23.37 and began to crater. That level is just shy of a trio of highs from earlier in the month at the $23.50 area.

Since making that high, it swooned to $20.25 before staging a rebound. That low is just above Wednesday's low of $20.16.
