Twitter shareholders tweet to board: Hire Jack!

Superstar Angel Investor Chris Sacca, a large Twitter shareholder since it was a small startup company, has been extremely vocal in his calls for the Twitter board to move Jack Dorsey into the CEO role of Twitter full time.

The fact the Twitter board can't get a CEO hired months after the departure of Dick Costolo is especially grating, and becoming a more frequent subject of Sacca's twitter rants.

Sacca isn't alone

At LikeFolio, we've seen a dramatic rise in the concern that $TWTR investors have about the lack of a permanent CEO and the board's apparent lack of vision or execution in bringing someone in full time.

The other prevailing theme among $TWTR shareholders is that this apparent indecision is hurting the company's stock price and making a takeover by Google more likely.

In fact, it's clear from our data that a vast majority of Twitter shareholders agree with Sacca and would be thrilled to see Jack Dorsey named as permanent CEO, even if he keeps his other job— the CEO of Square.

We aren't sure we'd expect much of a response from Twitter's board of directors though, since as Adam Singer points out, it seems they don't use the product very much:

Twitter is an amazing product and a special company. We're hoping the optics are wrong, and Twitter's board is listening to their shareholders and user base on this very important decision.
