Shares of Humana Inc (NYSE: HUM) are rallying on a report from the Wall Street Journal that said the company could be considering a sale. In total, along with Humana's ten closest peers in the managed healthcare space, $10 billion in market value has been created from the news.

CIGNA Corporation (NYSE: CI) is up nearly 3.6 percent, adding $1.23 billion to its market capitalization. Aetna Inc (NYSE: AET) is also up nearly 1.53 percent, also contributing an additional $760 million to its market capitalization.

Other big movers include Centene Corp (NYSE: CNC), whose shares rallied about 3.76 percent while adding $317 million to its market capitalization, and Anthem Inc (NYSE: ANTM) spiked up 2.3 percent, contributing an additional $960 million to its market capitalization.

Humana itself has gained nearly $5.13 billion in market capitalization in just one day.
