SolarCity Rises On Jana Partners' Passive Stake

Shares of SolarCity Corp SCTY experienced a quick rise in share price Tuesday morning amid a Schedule 13G filing from Jana Partners LLC.

The hedge fund, led by Barry Rosenstein, reported a 5.4 percent passive stake in SolarCity.

Subsequent to the filing, shares of SolarCity quickly jumped from $57.50 to $59 per share.

Shares of SolarCity recently traded at $58.22 up 1 percent.
