Going forward, Canadian tech giant Research in Motion
RIMM will no longer go by RIM -- instead the company will embrace BlackBerry fully, taking on the name of its devices as its corporate name.
The name will also accompany a new ticker on the Nasdaq: BBRY.
The company formerly known as Research in Motion is currently demonstrating its new BlackBerry 10 operating system at a launch event.
Shareholders have evidently not been impressed, as shares of RIM have traded down over 2 percent during the presentation.
