The company's adjusted income came in at $0.12 per share. The company's revenue increased to $546 million from $539 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.10 per share on revenue of $543.7 million. BRCD shares jumped 5.66% to $6.35 in after-hours trading.
Wall Street expects Campbell Soup (NYSE: CPB) to report its FQ2 EPS at $0.72 on revenue of $2.15 billion. CPB shares gained 0.11% to $34.98 in the after-hours trading session.
Intuit Inc (NASDAQ: INTU) reported its FQ2 net income at $73 million, or $0.23 per share, versus $114 million, or $0.35 per share, in the year-earlier period. Excluding one-time items, Intuit's earnings came in at $0.32 per share. The company's revenue increased 5% to $878 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.32 per share on revenue of $891.8 million. INTU shares surged 2.89% to $51.90 in after-hours trading.
Analysts are expecting Progress Energy Inc (NYSE: PGN) to have earned $0.44 per share on revenue of $2.44 billion in the fourth quarter. PGN shares rose 1.23% to close at $45.92 yesterday.
Nordstrom Inc (NYSE: JWN) reported its FQ4 net income at $232 million, or $1.04 per share, compared with $172 million, or $0.77 per share, in the year-ago period. The company's revenue increased around 11% to $2.82 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $1.00 per share on revenue of $2.82 billion. The company projected FY11 earnings of $2.95 to $3.10 per share. JWN also announced its plans to purchase HauteLook for $180 million. JWN shares dropped 3.01% to $45.08 in the after-hours trading session.
