There is unconfirmed chatter that Equinix, Inc.

may be acquired by one of the larger telecoms at a substantial premium. There is talk that either Verizon

or AT&T

would be the potential acquirer, in a range of $130 per share. This would be a 38% premium to where shares are currently trading. Shares of Equinix are up 15 cents this morning to trade at $95.40.
