Is Ballmer Bad News For Microsoft (MSFT)

Once a cynosure, Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) now seems to be losing out to Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) and Google (NASDAQ: GOOG).

Both these companies are on the forefront of innovation and market dominance. Microsoft, on the other hand, is dealing with one debacle after another. Windows 7 seems to be the only thing going for Microsoft. Could the CEO Steve Ballmer be blamed for this downfall?

According to insiders, Steve Ballmer has not been able to come up with any revolutionary ideas. Even within Microsoft, such feeling is palpable. If Microsoft wants to counter Apple and Google, it needs to go for a complete overhaul.
