Citi is maintaining its Buy rating on shares of American Public Education, Inc. (NASDAQ: APEI).“APEI is up 11% YTD, outperforming the Ed Sector (flat YTD) and the S&P 500 (up 6% YTD) and, at 20x 2011E EPS, APEI trades at a significant premium to its Ed Sector peers (11x),” Citi writes. “We remain Buyers of APEI given its sustainable low tuition advantage, which we believe can deliver >20% EPS growth through 2013 and supports the premium multiple.”American Public Education closed Tuesday at $41.43.
