Steve Sosnick's Biotech ETF Trade

27% profits every 20 days?

This is what Nic Chahine averages with his options buys. Not selling covered calls or spreads... BUYING options. Most traders don't even have a winning percentage of 27% buying options. He has an 83% win rate. Here's how he does it.

Speaking on Bloomberg Markets, Steve Sosnick of Interactive Brokers recommended a short-term bearish options trade in SPDR S&P Biotech (ETF) (NYSE:XBI).

He wants to fade the recent rally by selling the July 7, 78.50/80 call spread for a credit of 55 cents. If the ETF closes below $78.50 at the July expiration, Sosnick is going to make his maximal profit of 55 cents. Above $79.05, the trade starts to lose money. If the stock jumps 2.28 percent to $80, the trade is going to reach its maximal loss of 95 cents.
