SavaNet Quantamental Tools Advance Buyside Analysis

27% profit every 20 days?

This is what Nic Chahine averages with his option buys. Not selling covered calls or spreads… BUYING options. Most traders don’t even have a winning percentage of 27% buying options. He has an 83% win rate. Here’s how he does it.

If you linger somewhere in the balance between quantitative and fundamental analytics ━ quantamentals, if you will ━ you could find yourself tapping into the passions of Eric Linder, president of SavaNet LLC.

“The definition really depends on whether you’re a quant fund moving into the fundamental space, at which point you want to take more fundamental research and analytics into your process, or if you’re on the fundamental side, it’s really about quantifying not only your internal but external data and rebasing your process on quantitative indicators,” Linder said at Benzinga’s 2017 Fintech Awards, where he demonstrated the model.

SavaNet sells raw quantamental data sets such as valuations and sensitivity analyses, and it also offers an interactive web app to analyze and compare individual companies.

The firm arose after Linder noticed an unmet need in the fintech space.

“I used to be a senior equity analyst for JPMorgan," Linder said, "and I would build these very detailed, fundamental models on companies and do really advanced analytics, but then I moved to the buy side where I was now looking at 100 or 1,000 companies at a time and I found I couldn’t do the same level of detailed analytics I could of individual companies.

“We founded SavaNet in order to provide systems to buyside users to do that.”
