Jon Najarian Sees Unusual Options Activity In Nike And CVS

On CNBC's "Fast Money Halftime Report," Jon Najarian said that Nike Inc (NYSE:NKE) had unusually high options volume Friday. Traders were buying the June 9, 53 and 53.50 strike calls. Usual options volume in the June 53 calls in Nike is around 500 contracts and in the first half of the trading session, around 6,000 contracts were traded. Najarian is bullish on the stock and he bought the calls.

He also noticed a large options volume in CVS Health Corp (NYSE:CVS). Traders were buying the January 90 calls and they paid around $0.90 for them. The trade breaks even at $90.90 or around 15 percent higher from the closing price on Friday. Najarian also owns calls in CVS Health Corp.
