20-Year Pro Trader Reveals His "MoneyLine"
Ditch your indicators and use the "MoneyLine." A simple line tells you when to buy and sell without the guesswork. It’s a line on a chart that’s helped Nic Chahine win 83% of his options buys. Here's how he does it.
Yesterday we saw the
announcement of a merger between AT&T (NYSE: T) and T-Mobile, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telecom. We've already heard of
who wins in this deal, but who loses? The tower names are likely to see downside pressure today, and could be a good shorting opportunity. America Tower (NYSE: AMT), SBA Communications (NASDAQ: SBAC) and Crown Castle International Corp. (NYSE: CCI) are down sharply in pre-market trading, as consolidation in the space leads to decreased pricing power for the towers.Sprint (NYSE: S) is an obvious loser here, as now no one will acquire the name. Verizon has already said it wouldn't acquire Sprint in the interest of anti-trust, and the other remaining players, Leap Wireless (NASDAQ: LEAP) and MetroPCS (NYSE: PCS) are of no incremental benefit to Sprint.DIRECTV (NASDAQ: DTV) and Dish Network (NASDAQ: DISH) are likely losers, as it removes any possibility of them getting into the telecom game. Both shares are indicated lower.
