Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) shares are trading lower by $0.38 (3.5 percent) at $11.90 in Tuesday's session.

There is no specific news out on the stock and most likely is just following the broad markets lower. This marks the third straight day of declines as Ford's stock ended last Thursday's session at $12.70.

After a flat open, it found resistance just above Monday's closing price ($12.28) at $12.32 and began move lower.

It easily surpassed Monday's low ($12.25) and found no buyers at the psychological support level of $12.00. It has continued to make new lows for the session, with the current one standing at $11.83. That marks the lowest level for the issue since it bottomed on November 22 at $11.73.

The issue is attempting to avoid its first close under $12.00 since November 30, when it ended that session at $11.96.
