Jon Najarian said on CNBC's Fast Money he noticed a big options activity in Cree, Inc. (NASDAQ:CREE) on Wednesday. He explained that options traders were buying the February 27.50 calls on the rumors the company could become a takeover target. Around 6,400 contracts were traded in the first half of the session and they expire on Friday.

Pete Najarian spoke about unusually high options activity in Liberty Interactive Corp (NASDAQ:QVCA). He noticed somebody bought over 20,000 contracts of the April 22 calls in the name and he decided to follow the trade. The company is going to report earnings on February 28 and Pete Najarian is planning to hold his position through earnings. He added that the trading action in Liberty Interactive looks like the stock wants to return to $26.
