Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) shares are trading higher by $3.50 (1.3 percent) at $284.10 in Tuesday's session.
This marks the fifth consecutive day of gains, rallying from its February 7 close ($257.48) to its current level. The issue is now $100.00 over its December 2 low of $180.00.

After a lower open, it retreated only $0.28 to $278.75 before embarking on its drive to a new all time-high. So far, the ensuing rally has taken the issue to $287.39, which is just under $4.00 from its all-time high made in June 2014 at $291.42.
