Activision Blizzard, Inc. (NASDAQ:ATVI) shares are trading higher by $7.00 (19 percent) at $46.73 in Friday's session.

The Street is focusing on its strong Q1 EPS guidance ($0.51 vs.$0.31 estimates) on sales of $1.55 billion. The company forecasts CY 2017 adjusted EPS at $1.70 on sales of $6 billion.

After a much higher open, it retreated only $0.07 to $44.93 before continuing its move higher. It has easily eclipsed its former all-time high of $45.55, continuing to make new highs for the session with the current standing at $46.95 as of 11:10 a.m. EST.
