He thinks the financial stocks could trade higher on the news of financial deregulation. To make a bullish bet, he wants to buy the January 2018, 20 strike call in Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund for $4.25.

The trade breaks even at $24.25 or 2.23 percent above the current market price. He decided to buy the January 2018, 20 strike call because it costs only $25 more than the June 20 call and it gives him much more time.
