BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) shares are trading lower by $0.15 (2 percent)at $7.04 in Monday's session. It's trading lower for the third day in a row after putting in a trio of highs at the $7.35 area at the end of last week.

After a flat open, it rallied $0.03 above Friday's closing price ($7.19), reaching $7.22 before falling to $6.99. That low comes in just under its January 4 low ($7.00), but comfortably above its yearly low of $6.86. That low matched it lows from the final trading day of 2015.

The issue is attempting to avoid its first close under $7.00 since the first day of trading in 2017, when it closed at $6.96 on January 3.
