Bob Iger, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer said, “We remain confident that Disney will continue to deliver strong growth over the long-term.” Disney shares gained 2.46 percent to $97.30 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Michael Kors Holdings Ltd (NYSE: KORS) posted upbeat earnings for its second quarter, but issued poor guidance for fiscal full year. Michael Kors shares dropped 4.54 percent to $49.41 in the after-hours trading session.
  • NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) reported better-than-expected earnings for its third quarter. The company boosted its quarterly dividend by 22 percent and authorized an additional $2 billion in share buyback program. NVIDIA shares surged 14.73 percent to $77.75 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Wall Street expects J C Penney Company Inc (NYSE: JCP) to report a quarterly loss at $0.21 per share on revenue of $2.96 billion before the opening bell. J C Penney shares gained 3.18 percent to $9.09 in after-hours trading.

The company disclosed that Kurt Schmidt will retire as CEO. Blue Buffalo named Billy Bishop as CEO effective January 1, 2017. Blue Buffalo shares slipped 0.04 percent to $23.85 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Microsemi Corporation (NASDAQ: MSCC) reported better-than-expected results for its fourth quarter on Thursday. Microsemi shares rose 0.01 percent to $47.87 in the after-hours trading session.
