Most Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR) users know how active president-elect Donald Trump is. This is probably because the 140-character format fits his short, powerful aphorism-like statements style.
No matter the reason, Trump tweeted his share during Election Day and Election Night. Below is a look into some of his most notable tweets during that time.

Trump kicked off Election Day with an early-Tuesday tweet that got more than half a million likes and 30,000 shares.
A few hours later, he published a video urging his followers to go vote GOP.
In another extremely popular tweet, he posted a two-minute, moving campaign video. “Our movement is about replacing the failed and corrupt political establishment with a new government controlled by you, the American people [...] The only force strong enough to save our country is us.”

Back to his regular Trump-y self, he added, “I will be watching the election results from Trump Tower in Manhattan with my family and friends. Very exciting!”
Trump went on to re-tweet some of his son and daughter’s tweets. Not even Ivanka could believe she was voting for Donald Trump as president (or maybe the message came out wrong):
In a final message posted on Wednesday morning Trump stated: “Such a beautiful and important evening! The forgotten man and woman will never be forgotten again. We will all come together as never before.”
Notably, the president-elect was even more active on Facebook Inc (NASDAQ: FB), where he posted updates thanking several states where he had won, as well as campaign videos and other messages.
