Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) shares are trading lower by $0.9 at $6.657 in Friday's session. This is despite a Q3 beat for EPS of $0.03 along with nearly $10 million more in sales.
After a lower open, it continued in that direction until it found support at $6.37 and began to rebound. That marks the lowest level for the issue since it bottomed on October 13 at $6.24.

So far, the ensuing rally has come up shy of the lower-end of Thursday's range ($6.77) as the current high stands at $6.64.
It should be noted the issue has been a stellar performer in 2016, being higher by 128 percent from it year-end close of $2.87.
