Mobileye NV (NYSE: MBLY).

General Motors Company (NYSE: GM) spun off Delphi Automotive PLC (NYSE: DLPH) back in 1999. This week, Delphi and Mobileye announced a new partnership to develop a self-driving system.

Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL) and Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) have teamed with ridesharing startup Uber to tackle the regulatory hurdles that self-driving cars may face.

GM invested $500 million in Uber rival Lyft earlier this year. The two companies plan on working together to develop an on-demand self-driving car network.

Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) recently terminated its partnership with Mobileye, but it continues to partner with NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) to develop an autonomous car platform.

Alphabet and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (NYSE: FCAU) have partnered up to create a fleet of 100 self-driving minivans to collect data that will be crucial in fine-tuning an autonomous driving system.
