- Wall Street expects Nordson Corporation (NASDAQ: NDSN) to post quarterly earnings at $1.33 per share on revenue of $479.71 million after the closing bell. Nordson shares rose 1.15 percent to close at $92.20 on Friday.
- Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) is close to a deal to acquire Medivation Inc (NASDAQ: MDVN) for about $14 billion or approximately $80 per share, according to sources as reported by Financial Times on Sunday. Celgene Corporation (NASDAQ: CELG), Gilead Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: GILD) and Sanofi SA (ADR) (NYSE: SNY) also were said to be bidding for Medivation. Pfizer shares slipped 0.09 percent to $34.95 in after-hours trading, while Medivation shares gained 0.07 percent to $67.21 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts expect Zoe's Kitchen Inc (NYSE: ZOES) to post quarterly earnings at $0.06 per share on revenue of $67.25 million after the closing bell. Zoe's Kitchen shares slipped 0.03 percent to close at $36.85 on Friday.

- Japanese company Renesas Electronics Corp. is in talks to buy Intersil Corp (NASDAQ: ISIL) for around $3 billion, the Nikkei reported. Intersil shares rose 1.82 percent to close at $15.64 on Friday.
- Analysts are expecting Premier Inc (NASDAQ: PINC) to have earned $0.39 per share on revenue of $300.28 million in the latest quarter. Premier will release earnings after the markets close. Premier shares dropped 0.09 percent to $32.81 in after-hours trading.
- Lowe's Companies, Inc. (NYSE: LOW) declared a $0.35 per share quarterly dividend on Friday. Lowe's shares declined 0.03 percent to $77.80 in after-hours trading.
