Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

  • Wall Street expects Yum! Brands, Inc. (NYSE: YUM) to report its quarterly earnings at $0.74 per share on revenue of $3.07 billion. Yum! Brands shares fell 0.24 percent to close at $86.23 on Tuesday.
  • Michaels Companies Inc (NYSE: MIK) reported an offering of 11 million shares via selling holders. The company now expects Q2 results in the lower-to-middle range of its earlier disclosed outlook. Michaels shares dropped 4.43 percent to $27.60 in the after-hours trading session.
  • Analysts are expecting Commerce Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBSH) to have earned $0.68 per share on revenue of $292.98 million in the latest quarter. Commerce Bancshares shares gained 1.55 percent to close at $48.51 on Tuesday.

  • AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR) posted weaker-than-expected earnings for its fourth quarter on Tuesday. AAR shares tumbled 10.34 percent to $22.45 in the after-hours trading session.
  • AngioDynamics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANGO) is estimated to report its quarterly earnings at $0.16 per share on revenue of $88.41 million. AngioDynamics shares rose 0.97 percent to $14.64 in after-hours trading.
  • Analysts expect CSX Corporation (NASDAQ: CSX) to post its quarterly earnings at $0.44 per share on revenue of $2.7 billion. CSX shares rose 0.70 percent to $27.21 in after-hours trading.
  • Shares of NetSuite Inc (NYSE: N) surged around 11 percent Tuesday, on unconfirmed market chatter of a potential takeover by Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL), according to sources as reported by Proactive Investors. NetSuite shares slipped 0.21 percent to $84.00 in the after-hours trading session, while Oracle shares declined 1.55 percent to $40.78 in the after-hours trading session.
