- Alcoa Inc (NYSE: AA) reported stronger-than-expected earnings for its second quarter on Monday. Alcoa shares gained 3.65 percent to $10.51 in the after-hours trading session.
- Wall Street expects Fastenal Company (NASDAQ: FAST) to report its quarterly earnings at $0.48 per share on revenue of $1.02 billion. Fastenal shares slipped 0.79 percent to $45.00 in after-hours trading.
- Analysts are expecting ADTRAN, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADTN) to have earned $0.19 per share on revenue of $162.43 million in the latest quarter. ADTRAN shares rose 0.81 percent to $19.88 in after-hours trading.

- Seagate Technology PLC (NASDAQ: STX) issued a strong revenue forecast for the fourth quarter and announced plans to lower 14 percent of its global workforce by the end of fiscal 2017. Seagate shares surged 13.03 percent to $27.23 in the after-hours trading session.
- Analysts expect AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR) to post its quarterly earnings at $0.47 per share on revenue of $452.4 million. AAR shares gained 2.92 percent to close at $24.00 on Monday.
