Rumors circulating the Street regarding potential issues with EU commissioner over the Bayer deal have exerted selling pressure on the issue.It is now $14 over its recent high that was made on June 19 at $114.26 at the pinnacle of the takeover speculation. Also, it is only $10, from its close ($90.34) on May 11, the day rumors surfaced regarding it being an acquisition target by Bayer.
