Time Inc. (NYSE: TIME) EVP, Evelyn Webster, revealed the appointment of MaryAnn Bekkedahl as President, Fashion & Luxury. The company also elevated Charlie Kammerer to President, Lifestyle.

According to the company, Bekkedahl, who joins it from e-commerce and ad-tech startup Keep Holdings, would commence his stint on June 1. On the other hand, Kammerer, formerly Group Publisher, would assume his new role immediately.

Time said that Bekkedahl would report to Webster. The company added that Bekkedahl would oversee InStyle, StyleWatch, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure and Departures. Similarly, Kammerer's portfolio included Real Simple, Cozi, Cooking Light, MyRecipes, Health, Sunset and Coastal Living. Time, Fortune, Money, Essence and Southern Living would continue to report directly to Webster.

Webster commented about the new structure saying, "This new structure will enable us to significantly accelerate many of the activities we have underway across our portfolio as we transform our business. MaryAnn and Charlie are talented, proven leaders who will unlock the incredible potential of our brands and the audiences they serve."

Time indicated that in these new roles, Bekkedahl and Kammerer would be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their respective brands' development. The company added that they would fuel revenue diversification, digital and video growth and expand new products and services, in addition to managing the core business. The media firm added that the editor and publisher of every brand would now report to their President.

The stock traded 1.93 percent higher on Friday.
