- UnitedHealth Group Inc (NYSE: UNH), up 1.38 percent
- Visa Inc (NYSE: V), up 1.21 percent
Some of the top decliners in the index were:
- Nike Inc (NYSE: NKE), down 3.78 percent
- Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT), down 2.44 percent
The S&P 500 index fell 0.64 percent on Wednesday trading.
Some of the top gainers index were:
- Pepco Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: POM), up 26.88 percent
- AutoZone, Inc. (NYSE: AZO), up 2.46 percent
Some of the top decliners in the index were:
- Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE: CHK), down 14.32 percent
- Freeport-McMoRan Inc (NYSE: FCX), down 11.28 percent
The Nasdaq 100 index tumbled 1.1 percent on Wednesday trading.
Some of the top gainers in the index were:
- Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA), up 1.85 percent
- NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA), up 1.71 percent
Some of the top decliners in the index were:
- Vertex Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (NASDAQ: VRTX), down 7.64 percent
- Micron Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: MU), down 6.91 percent
